A Wedding To Remember
Fireworks, picnics, parades and sparklers will forever mark Jen and Justin’s wedding anniversary, as they chose to become one on the 4th of July, 2009. The banquet rooms at Radisson Quad City Plaza were the sites of both the ceremony and reception at 6:00 PM.

Jen Tracy and Justin duDomaine contracted with me to provide sound support for their ceremony as well as the reception entertainment services. I arrived at the Radisson to find the reception room expertly decorated in the wedding colors of Black and Champagne with Red accents. Suspended above the dance floor were red petals with blue L.E.D. lights spaced to provide a starlite effect. The head table and cake table were accented with a generous amount of red votive candles. Black linens and chair covers with red accents were provided by Lynn at Clazzy Designs.

After the 6PM ceremony guests enjoyed a cocktail in the atrium area of the hotel. The banquet room was opened at 7:30 PM and the guests were amazed to see the appearance of the room. The bridal party was introduced shortly thereafter. Members of the bridal party included Tommy Tate, Ben Tracy, Molly Lovell, Matthew Hjerpe, Donald Bolton, Brigette Tracy, Aaron Seiter, Courtney Adams, Joe Hill, Amanda Sperry, John Frey, Rebecca Quick, Michael duDomaine. Parents of the bride are Jean and Tom Tate and Joe and Sue Tracy. The grooms parents are Reg and Marywill duDomaine.
After cutting the wedding cake toasts were proposed by Best Man Michael duDomaine and Maid of Honor Rebecca Quick. A plated dinner was served featuring a selection of Chicken or Salmon.
A photo montage was presented during the dinner hour, featuring the lives of Jen Tracy and Justin duDomaine. The mother of the groom, Marywill also proposed an “Iowa Field of Dreams” toast during dinner. In lieu of glass clinking, guests were encouraged to sing in order to make Jen and Justin kiss. There were many entertaining songs done by some talented guests, including a slightly modified version of “Mama Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys” sung by the fathers.
